This Noreena Jasper pendant necklace is built around a huge rust-red stone whose natural markings immediately reminded me of an ancient landscape. White inclusions break through the deep earthy colors like rivers, mineral veins, or pathways crossing red desert rock. I surrounded the stone with intricate micromacramé in warm bronze and contrasting aquamarine cord, combining flowing geometric shapes with detailed knotting patterns to create a bold boho hippie choker that still feels organic and connected to nature.

Noreena Jasper is an Australian stone known for its dramatic red, mustard, cream, and earthy geometric patterns. Despite its trade name, Noreena Jasper is more accurately described as a silicified mudstone, with its distinctive patterns developing through mineral-rich geological processes over immense spans of time. I paired it with Botswana Agate at the throat chakra, a variety of chalcedony famous for its beautifully layered and banded patterns.
